- June 16, 1965: Rev. Edward L. Counts called as Mission Developer by Board of American Missions
- October 3, 1965: East Hampton Mission Group held a service at Century Bowling Lanes
- October 10, 1965: First Sunday Church School
- November 14, 1965: Charter Sunday
- December 19, 1965: Service of Organization at St. Paul's Church
- April 19, 1966: Congregation received into the Virginia Synod
- May 19, 1968: Groundbreaking for Unit 1
- January 5, 1969: First Service in The New Building (167 attended)
- January 12, 1969: Unit 1 Dedication
- September, 1973: Start of Gloria Dei Lutheran School (19 students)
- January 19, 1975: Groundbreaking Unit 2
- October 5, 1975: Dedication of the Christian Education Center
- June 3, 1979: Dedication of Unit 3A
- December 16, 1985: Groundbreaking for the New Nave
