  • June 16, 1965: Rev. Edward L. Counts called as Mission Developer by Board of American Missions
  • October 3, 1965: East Hampton Mission Group held a service at Century Bowling Lanes
  • October 10, 1965: First Sunday Church School
  • November 14, 1965: Charter Sunday
  • December 19, 1965: Service of Organization at St. Paul's Church
  • April 19, 1966: Congregation received into the Virginia Synod
  • May 19, 1968: Groundbreaking for Unit 1
  • January 5, 1969: First Service in The New Building (167 attended)
  • January 12, 1969: Unit 1 Dedication
  • September, 1973: Start of Gloria Dei Lutheran School (19 students)
  • January 19, 1975: Groundbreaking Unit 2
  • October 5, 1975: Dedication of the Christian Education Center
  • June 3, 1979: Dedication of Unit 3A
  • December 16, 1985: Groundbreaking for the New Nave

  • September 19, 1999: Dedication of Sunrise House Adult Day Care Facility
